Peatlands are key landscapes at the intersection of nature conservation and cultural heritage. This interdisciplinary conference brings together experts from research, administration and practice to exchange knowledge on rewetting projects, their ecological impacts, and the preservation of archaeological archives in peat soils. The focus is on open dialogue and cross-disciplinary reflection about the opportunities and challenges in protecting and developing these unique ecosystems.
