The Peatland Science Symposium 2026 takes place on 18 February 2026 at Université Laval, Québec City, Canada. It is organised by the Peatland Ecology Research Group and Can-Peat.
The one-day symposium brings together researchers and practitioners working on peatland science and restoration. The programme begins with a keynote on peatland hydrology and carbon exchange and is followed by oral presentations and poster sessions covering current research on peatland processes, restoration methods and collaborative approaches in Canada.
