The 18th International Peatland Congress (IPC 2028), the flagship international conference of the International Peatland Society, will be held in Riga. The congress takes place every four years.
IPC 2028 brings together experts, practitioners, policymakers and stakeholders from around the world to exchange knowledge and experience on peatlands and peat in all their aspects, including science, use, restoration, policy, innovation and responsible management.
Applications to host IPC 2032 can be sent by National Committees until 1 September 2026 to the IPS Secretariat.
