Each autumn, the German substrate industry meets in Bad Zwischenahn for the IVG Soils & Substrates Industry Day (formerly the German Peat and Humus Day, DTHT) – one of the sector’s key platforms. More than 200 participants from industry and trade attend to follow expert presentations, political discussions, research updates and to network with colleagues and business partners. The traditional “Ammerland Industry Evening” at the Spieker offers additional opportunities for informal exchange.
The next IVG Soils & Substrates Industry Day will take place on 19 November 2026 in Cuijk, the Netherlands, due to construction work in Bad Zwischenahn.
