The event presents practical approaches for the sustainable use of peatlands in agriculture, forestry and horticulture. The programme highlights experiences and solutions developed by farmers, researchers and practitioners. Topics include water management on peat soils, cultivation practices, and new approaches in peatland forestry and horticulture. The seminar also explores alternatives to peat use, sphagnum cultivation and opportunities related to peatland restoration. It aims to share practical experiences and promote dialogue on future peatland management.
